I've booked myself on to a water schooling clinic a week today!! (31st July).

Hopefully the weather will not rain on that day and we'll have lots of fun. Basically it involves getting my stubborn horse actually to put his tootsies in to the water to start with and Ive been told we'll be cantering up stream jumping jumps on the way!

Cant wait!

Then the week after Im off to adult pony club camp for a week. I have a full time table with sometimes 2 lessons a day. Ive been having to get up at 5.30am every day in order to take fat pony out and get him fit! Ive also been frantically pulling his mane so that we can look half decent when we go!!!

Im just a little excited! :D:D:D:D

My daughter is off to a riding holiday at the start of August, she was there last year and loved it - 4 hours riding a day better her than me is all I can say

No its a place near Helmsley in Yorkshire- not pony club though

I hope you get your horse to achieve what you want!  Just one word of caution.....I had some lessons with Lucinda Green years and years ago, but one thing that she majored on was the fact that many horses who go into water are still fearful. This often results in them actually holding their breath whilst they are in the water and the problem often only becomes evident as the horse goes up through the grades and the water complexes become more and more difficult.  I remember spending hours with her sat on a horse in the middle of a water complex just splashing around and surveying the scenery!
