What a star :) It's been a long day at work, and motivation is zero because it's my last day tomorrow.  So I've come home, absolutely knackered, to four dogs that I really, really don't want to walk - if it was one walk, maybe, but as it is, it's three because Soli and River both need serious lead training (and work on dog issues with Soli).  Hard enough to want to do it normally, but at half 6 after 3 hours of walking badly behaved dogs at kennels....

But then I opened the fridge, and realised what I'd forgotten - that absolute saint of a butcher got marrow bones in for me this week! :D So now, I have 4 dogs who - after a little runaround with a ball - are chewing away contented, while I can sit down for a change :)

*sigh* It's lovely when the little things happen that make life a bit easier!  Back to normal tomorrow, but for now, huuuuuge cup of tea, penguin bars and New Scientist, all to the sound of chomping :D

Only a cup of tea ;) Don't you deserve something a little bit nicer? :D

Try not to do too much tomorrow, unless you really want to  ;)

I did mention penguin bars I think ;) tea and chocolate, what's nicer than that? :D :D And reading about string theory - bliss :p

Penguins should be black and white, not covered with chocolate :) Sorry, but I don't like penguin bars. Just about the only biscuit I don't like. :D Especially chocolate ones  ;)

Well penguins are not quite Tim-tams .......but you can try the Tim-Tam slam with a penguin and a cup of tea :D :D :D

Quite an experience ;)

Margot

Oh forgot - see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam_Slam

Sorry, Margot - have to say that I wasn't very impressed with Tim-Tams when I tried them :) :) :) If I have to eat that type of chocolate biscuit, it has to be a Kit-Kat :) The best chocolate biscuits are the Belgian type :) However my bestest ever biscuits are shortbreads :D :D :D Could eat them all day :D :D

Ahh - but you can't slurp your tea through a kit-kat - has to be a tim-tam or penguin :D :D

I've tried both  and it makes the biscuits go sssooooo quickly it's a waste. Take a tip from the expert: have a bite of your chosen biscuit, hold it in your mouth and take a sip of your chosen drink. Hold both in the mouth until the biscuit has mushed. Swallow. Repeat.

That way you get more than a single 'hit'. :) :)

Me hadn't walked the dogs as it was warm, and then my daughter got me free tickets to Starlight Express at the the Hippodrome, so late supper for the dogs when I got back, let them digest their grub,a nd was going to have a lovely walk about half an hour ago, and it is now tipping down, and dogs curled up tight in baskets not wanting to budge.

I'm afraid I'm dull and teetotal!  Or tea-total in this case :p I'm a total control freak, any hint of less than total awareness/control on my part and I hate it, and as I was such a lightweight when I used to drink I'd imagine one sip would send me over the edge now! :D

Finally done with the job though, and it's another big cup of tea for me - and cake, and skips... and garlic doughballs :D

Lovely thing was, it was actually a fantastic day - I was working with the best 3 people there, it was laughter all day and to top it off, I got a little rotti pup - bout 5 months old - that was scared of everyone to trust me enough for a stroke and a walk :) one of the girls tried yesterday and couldn't get near, pup was growling away.  I had tears in my eyes :) A perfect ending I think!  She's better with the other girls now too, and I have a sweet pic of her on my phone.
