Has anyone noticed how much she changes her dogs?
Didnt she used to have 2 rotties? Then it was a Shar Pei in spaion and tonight I am watching the re-run of her coming to America and she has a small fluffy dog.
What happened to the other dogs?

I would not be too sure it was really her dog. I watched the first 10 minutes of the programme and it came across, to me, as a huge promotional piece intended for the American market. When they flagged up at the beginning that some scenes were dramatised and the assistant was played by an actress I thought "this is very odd and lacking in sincerity for UK tastes" and then when they referred to David as a soccer player that was the clincher for me. Given that, and the fact she has 3 young boys (or would that be 4 ;)) at home I think a small fluffy dog, in the Paris Hilton mode, might be just a prop :)

Yeah i agree and doubt that it was her dog,it didnt arrive with her on the flight and just happened to appear at her house.
As for VB i think she is an utter disgrace to her country, and making that show has made me embarrassed to be British. What must the Americans be thinking after watching that show  :o
The girl lacks even a miniscule amount of substance, there is nothing to her, physically or mentally! I wanted to watch the show because she *did* intrigue me,but everything was so fake and set up that i am none the wiser

Victoria Beckham ?
Why don't we have a YAAWNNN icon????
:D :D :D

When I've seen her interviewed (not reality TV stuff) I've actually liked her. IMO she's not talented but she's certainly not stupid either. What I like about her is her down to earth nature and the ability to take the rise out of herself. I don't go out of my way to watch her whether it's "news" topics or "singing" career as they don't interest me. What does interest me is that she seems to get up so many people's noses. Why?
The only reason she gets so much media attention is because the public wants to see her or read about her. Why?

absolutely cheryl, well said. I actually do not like or dislike her, let's just say she's got houses all over and can afford whatever she buys! I've got one house and at the minute the credit card is slowly nearing the max! Now I'd never say she was stupid. Lots of people say the same about him but I'd have him sitting on my mantlepiece anyday to look at, he don't need to be able to talk fluently!
Love her or hate her she was more than normal compared to the neighbours who invited her around for a drink! they scared me!
You're right, Cheryl, she isn't stupid. I wouldn't say I was a great fan but there's something about her that I like.
The way she said 'It's so exhausting being fabulous' really amused me :)

ITV are coming round to my house next week to film a day in my life - after all, the only difference between me and VB is that I have not yet put 100% of my time into courting publicity.

Also admire the way she has risen above David's affair put it behind her and moved onwards and upwards!
Way to go girl - makes me proud to be British!!!

Oh come on, don't put her down, she is successful in her own right, whichever way you look at it, she is a wealthy lady and appears to be a good Mum which is all important!

Can't stand her :( She looks appalling - everything totally over the top - a total caricature :D :D :D She's never down anything that I'd be proud of. The Spice Girls were a 'manufactured' group - no singing ability and the product of the record/PR company NOT Victoria herself. All she is good at is spending money in a vulgar way - whether she is a good mother, I have no idea ?? How much time does she actually spend with her children ? How much time are they looked after by others ?? She tried to enrol Brooklyn at my children's school (before they went to Spain) and made totally proposterous demands :( The school told her where she could go ....... :D

Successful at what - if its manufacturing herself as a product, then I agree she is. What galls me is that she has had the neck to complain about intrusion when she gets the publicity she doesnt want. She may be wealthy, but that doesnt automatically mean she is a good mother. None of us know what kind of mother she is. Lets face it, she is the English Paris Hilton - does nothing but court publicity and then considers herself as some kind of celebrity.
'It's so exhausting being fabulous' really amused me
me too, I found the bits of the programme I watched quite funny. Make no mistake - she is no dumb blonde, a very savvy young woman indeed.

You are right we don't know whether she is a good mother! I'm not a fan of VB as I'm not a a fan of anyone in particular, but she is successful and I sometimes think when people are successful it upsets others
OK maybe what she has done to achieve her wealth and success isn't respected - so what? She is wealthy, and for that reason alone during her years living in the UK she has paid vast sums of tax which in turn helps the system in general.
I didn't watch all the programme, just a few minutes of it near the end and thought she came across as a genuinely nice sort of person - and good for her if she is successful.
I'd be proud of myself had I made as much money as she has and with as little talent as some people seem to think :)
All I can say is...............wish I was £1 behind her in the bank :D :D :D

I'd be a million behind her and be rich, love Jordan too says Lesley ducking for cover??
Well, so would I LOL....all those noughts would be all mine, not the Oh Dear ones :P :D :D
Now, I have to say I didnt think much of Jorden until i saw one of her programs, and I thought she came across totally different to how she is portrayed in the press/mags etc. Was suprised. :)

Oh Maria - success is not measured by how rich someone is. The Cray twins were pretty wealthy -were they to be admired?

Crikey! Comparing the Beckhams to the Kray twins is a bit harsh isn't it? After all the Kray twins were murdering gangsters. Fascinating that when someone is disliked they are compared to negative characters though. Why not compare them to Charles and Diana, much more comparable IMO except that the Royal family only have to be born to be rich. The good old tax payer gives the Queen her income whether they can afford to or not. At least the money earned by the Beckhams has been given to them freely by those who keep them in the media spotlight.
Same old, same old what makes a good mother? IMHO what doesn't make a good mother is one who gets drunk regularly or who takes illegal drugs or who smokes around her children or beats her children or who deliberately undermines her children's confidence or who brings a variety of boyfriends back to the family home or neglects her children. Has VB done any of these things? If she has I am sure it would make the headlines.
By Fillis
Date 20.07.07 13:59 UTC

(sigh) I did not compare the Beckhams to the Crays - I was pointing out that Marias post seemed to indicate that because VB is rich she is to be admired, and that being rich is not exactly a virtue

How many times did she say "everything i do is for David and the boys" on her program??? So many times that i was wondering who she was trying to convince...herself or us?
Like i said, before i saw that show i was intrigued by her and kind of liked her,but seeing her in coming to America really put me off.
I think she and he are both as thick as one another,i cant find anything 'brainy' about her.A normal guy couldnt last with her,and a normal girl couldnt last with him..Again,just no substance or personality or depth :(
Just
my opinion though :) I can understand how some people can like her :)
>like this - :-o
I thought :o was the embarrassed smiley?

depends what smiley list you look up! it can be - singing the national anthem too apparently - like all things computer - why have one meaning when 20 will do :D :D
she did say to the pa person (or whoever it was) that there was a dog to look after too, so think it might have been hers,

People,People.... save your consternation for something thats worth it! :D ;)
The programme was Victoria's Foray into comedy, she maintains in interviews that she does actually smile and laugh alot.. and this was her 'Ironic' send up of herself to prove that point. The Dog the PA and even the House were'nt real or hers!
Like everything its backfired on her somewhat! Did no one whisper in her ear Middle America just does not *get* British Irony??!!!! :D
(Mind you reading some of the comments on this thread seems neither do some Brits ;) :P <- cam be forgiven tho' as it was a poor attempt by VB granted! :D)
They say dont they 'sarcasm is the lowest form of witt' she'd have done well to mind that, only Brits such as Graham Norton can get away with it Stateside, she's obviously tried to adopt the 'Glam B*tch' Humour favoured and done hysterically well by Fashions Gay community, and has failed to realise that like a Versace concept dress you gotta know how to 'work it' to carry it off with a plomb.(or you just look trashy)
I predict a 'Beck'lash against her amongst the good and the golden in La La Land :)
By Daisy

Thank goodness that I have no idea about Versace concept dresses nor ever want to (only just about know who Versace is/was :D :D :D ) - are they anything to do with Chav ??? ;) ;)

I'm sorry but I don't know how anyone could "admire" her. I don't like her, know someone who knows her and David and well won't say anymore, but I must admit there were a number of moments that I really couldn't help laughing at. I just can't admire a woman who to me isn't a healthy role model, but saying that unfortuantely the "stars of today" that is loosely phrased all seem to have many extreme problems and I'm glad I'm boringly normal :d

do you know my brother?? I won't say he knows them well but he works with David's former club and still works for the England football team so is familiar with him although I wouldn't go as far as to say they were mates! (although I have heard my youngest son saying this! he he), he's travelled on the same plane as him on numerous occasions through work and she has always been there at the actual game (not on the plane) believe me it's not them two I hear stories about, but I could tell you which footballers he really doesn't like! Diva's of the football world! I can't remember where without checking with my brother but somewhere abroad he took David's mum and sister shopping somewhere and they bought him a tie! Better not ask him though as I really shouldn't gossip!

You can edit even when someone else has posted, it is a time thing I think, but I have reported it to Admin so hopefully they will see it soon and remove it.

I've edited posts after other people have posted. I also think it's a time limit attached to editing and nothing else.
Posh demands David gets a new home for his rottweiler guard dogs
- from NOW 8th January
Former England captain David is standing his ground however, saying that the dogs, who her refers to as his "little fellas" are there to protect the family, not harm them.
Victoria, who friends claim has always been wary of dogs, has pleaded with David to get rid of the dogs, but David is adamant that the dogs will stay as they are part of the family.

Didn't David also buy her a samoyed type dog before they went to Spain, I seem to remember an interview where the Rotties were referred to as Davids and Victoria wanted a
house dog. That wasn't the Shar pei as it was a white fluffy puppy.
