Topic Other Boards / Foo / Roses/clematis by the name of Beamish??
- By Gunner [eu] Date 12.07.07 07:42 UTC
Hi
A friend recently had to have her 13 year old lab pts;  the dogs name was Beamish and I would love to be able to find a rose bush or something similar that I could buy for her that went by the name of Beamish.  Does anyone know if such a plant exists?  (Haven't had time to go to local gardencentre and haven't found anything on Google yet.)  It doesn't have to be a rose - any other nice plant would  be acceptable.

Any ideas appreciated.

Many thanks.

You could have a look on the RHS site - they have a plantfinder where you just put in a word and it brings up any plants with that in its name and you can find stockists too.:)

Forgot to add that Primulas are perennials so they come back year after year & I think they are lovely

They don't have one by that name, but you can name your own rose should you wish.

I saw on TV at the Chelsea Flower Show this year there there is a new rose out called "Faithfull Friend", if you can't find anything with "Beamish" perhaps this would be good!!  You can order it from the website www.classicroses.co.uk.  Good luck
