For the 2nd time this week I have suddenly been inundated with 'returned mail/unable to deliver type messages in Outlook express. Could it be a 'worm' in my address book that is sending out unsolicited mail. even had an e mail i sent myself. Howe do I find out and what do I do. I have run a virus check but showed nothing.
Thanks in anticipation

Have you updated your virus definitions recently?  if not then do so and rerun your antivirus software

It's more likely somebody using your e-mail address to send out spam. It happens all the time.

I get this alot but if you look at the address it was sent to or from it's a nosense address.

I was not able to completely resolve this problem until I changed my email address, due to finally geting broadband where I live.  I have read that this problem can happen when you have to give your email address to access a website you want to look at.  Spammers either operate some of those sites, or sell their addresses, or they are available to spammers somehow.  I was receiving interminable undeliverable messages sent from organizations I do not belong to and sent to strangers, using my email.  One thing you can do is have an alternate email for those sites you just want to have a look at but do not really want to belong to.  A free email like hotmail is great.
