We have Hi-Control harnesses for our dogs, we like the unobtrusive style (some of them have horrible wide chest straps) and the fact that with the seatbelt clip they can be car harnesses or normal walking harnesses. However they only seem to come in black like this http://www.shop-com.co.uk/op/~Hi_Control_Safety_Harness_Small-prod-38481697, and although that looks fine on the tricolour, and complements the buff cocker, I think it clashes with the chestnut on my blenheim boy (yes, I know I'm a doting mum!). Anyone know a similar style harness in a nice plain brown? :-)

Ooooh - thought that this was going to be a post about Gordon Brown's ideas for controlling his new cabinet :D :D :D :D

Its predominantly a 'Sled dog' site but the quality and customer care is amazing and the owner will email you and get exact measurements so most items are 'tailored' :)
you can ask about having the reflective flashes that your hi-craft has put on too.( Im sure he can do that I have name& detail tags sewn onto my collars by him instead of having to have ID Discs)
Culpeppers
scroll down to walking harness and they have brown (amongst a rainbow of colours!)
HTH?? :)

Hmm, thanks - that looks promising. Don't think I'll bother with the reflective flashes, they just come on the other harnesses, and we don't go out in the dark. My sister bought us flashing collars at Christmas if we do anyway! :-)

I have seen the Hicraft ones in red, as my freidn uses it for one of hers when she sits in the fornt seat.

I like the canac harnesses as the lead goes onto the two d rings either side of the plastic clip so should it give or break the harness doesn't come off the dog.

I found it very good when I had one of my fosters, except she was so god in it I didn't take it straight off her after a walk and then forgot and she chewed it up!

Lucy, I have the Puppia harnesses for my two and love them - they are so soft and comfy looking and they have a huge range of colours too - don't know if you have ever come across them? They don't couple up as car harnesses though.
