
exactly brainless :) For litters they are good however for puppies you want to start housetraining with they are awaste of money and time.
We too just encourage the pup outside, our latest pup was whelped in the owners kitchin beside french doors which went out to a small enclosed patio. AS soon as the litter was old enough they were taken outside numerous times a day to do their business.
By the time she was with us she was trained with only afew accident in the house, most of them by the back door due to us not quite getting there quick enough! :D
She didn't even need paper and infact our first dog we did paper train and had the paper by the back door and found that any papers or mags lieing around the house one of the pups would go on. Our fault not hers and we soon learn't our mistake and never repeated it.
