I noticed yesterday that the complete top length of one of Molly's front claws has come off.(hope I've explained that correctly). It looks like she could of scrapped it on the concrete & now the underneath of the claw is exposed. She is not licking it & doesn't seemed bothered at all. Shall I let nature heal it or should I put some anti septic cream on so it doesn't get infected. It looks very dry at the moment, not looking like it may have a problem.
Thanks

personally I would get it looked at as if she catches it on something I could be very painful for her - a bit like when humans rip a nail. Why not give the vet a call and ask if they have any suggestions?

Hope shes ok x

Sorry, just saw this, a bit late I know. I would definitely take her to the vets as she may need antibiotics just to be on the safe side - once infections get into the nail bed they can be horrible to get rid of. One of my borzois took the side off his nail earlier this year, but being a borzoi he was mortally wounded and could hardly move  he was on metacam and antibiotics for a couple of weeks.
