You're aiming for a sharp, angular look and don't leave any tufts at the base of the ears!   Good luck. :)

doing head ears 30 blade inside the ears on 40 body on 8 half

Just tidy all the bits so the finish is sharp.  More fail through tufts at the base of the ears than anything else. :)
I would leave the body longer but you must do what you've been taught to do and what the examiner expects in order to pass.

I did do her on 7F the last time i did her but my tutor said 8half would look a better finsh

Grooming exams are a bit like driving exams.  You do what you need to do to pass and THEN you start learning how to REALLY to do! :)

well just got back did it in the hour your are meant to do it in. im happy with the dogs cut although i feel i t could of been better if we had more time. took dog back to the owners and the are over the moon with it in there eyes ive passed

Well done! I passed my Westie exam in the spring but will have to do the spaniel and poodle exams this autumn. Let us know when you get the results - sounds pretty clearly a pass though!
