We had the red and white setter club champ show today and had a rather nice day, good weather (not too not for the dogs but was lovely to be outside)

And - Bree our youngster won her class (un beaten at last 4 champshows in her class) and the judge was looking at her for RCC but went for a maturer bitch from limit.

Our oldie - maisie went best veteran bitch

The middle one, Moya is a different type from our other two but still managed to get a 5th in Limit

Then I took maisie and Moya into Brace and won that! :D  Wasn't expecting it so was a lovely win!

Overall a very nice day with fellow red and white people and some nice places with the dogs! :D

Well done today.  I love the atmosphere at Club Champ Shows.

Rox, who got what, is it too much trouble to ask for a list of classes & placings??????   Patience will run out by the time they go on Rossmore!

Club Shows are just lovely we had our open show yesterday too.

Like you said nice to spend time with friends you have met along the way!  Great atmosphere and nice weather too!  Nice to get a few placings as well :)

I also enjoy talking to those who have been in the breed along time and know alot more then I do...I can learn so much in one day it's amazing!

Wow, well done!!! I've often wondered about braces, but although my two have very similar markings and are a similar size, one is blenheim and the other tricolour, so probably not much good! :-D

We don't normally enter braces at all breed shows because the red and whites have differnt markings however we all have the same disadvantage at a breed show, infact the conversation was at the time of entries closing;

Mum: Shall I enter brace?
Dad: If you want
Mum: Well do you want to go in the brace?
Dad: Yes, why not

Day of show;

Me: Oh you enterd brace
Mum: Yea Dad said to
Dad: Yea, Roxanne can take them in
Me: I spose so...but when was was decided?
