He got an education
Barry

who's Rita ?????

Ahh that's for me to know :d :d
Guess what I've been doing today

I guess that Rita is a Pug! But no idea what you've been up too!
Barry & his wife own Granville - sire of my sister's Pug, Betsey. Barry, I don't think Granville passed on any of his obedient genes to Betsey!

Yes Rita is a Pug and another Granville daughter :d :d
Jenny I think all Pug people use names like Rita, Granville, Doris etc. really old fashioned names, they seem to quite suit them once you get to know them!
Not sure that Rita's picked up the obedient side yet from her daddy but she's a character!

whoever/whatever it is how could you call her RITA

ARGhhhhhhhhhhhhh
So what have you been up to then ????????
I know this may sound daft, but did this person mean he wanted a bitch to breed with him, or did he just mean he wanted another one and had been told he should get a bitch rather than another male, so when was the best time to get another?
had one better then that lol -had my small toy poodle out she is very pretty and a strange man with standard poodle ask me if i would mate my poodle with his -think he was quite offended when i said not lightly

It's amazing how some people operate!
Only not long ago, while the OH was taking Nips down the lane for a constitutional, a white van screeched to a halt next to them and the driver wound the window down and said "Oi, mate! Has your dog got all its tackle?" A bit taken aback, OH confirmed the dog was entire and the bloke then said "Got a garden have you? Only my bitch needs covering tomorrow and that's the best terrier I've seen for a long time. How much do you charge?" OH then chickened out and said I dealt with that sort of thing (which came as news to me) and I was away!
I was horrified at the idea of someone just dumping their (unknown!) bitch into my garden but couldn't believe that someone would be so uninterested about the stud that they'd do it in the first place!

Maybe he just wanted company for his wee boy.. Did he say what his intentions were, because from the little you've said i dont see anything amiss.

I agree that the little bit posted above isn't enough to attack somebody over. The chap may not even have considered breeding and merely wanted a companion - possibly he heard, quite rightly in most breeds, that a bitch would get on better with his dog :)
After reading another active post about the general public asking for puppies I think we can be far too harsh with them, it always pays to ask more questions then try to educate in a friendly manner :)

So who's pug is this Rita then ??????
and what had you been doing yesterday ??????
Jenny

I replied further up the page where you last asked :d :d Rita is a pug and the dogs were being photographed for a new all breeds book. Don't know the details yet but I'll advise when I do. Made me laugh he wanted a few show poses and Carina and Lastar were hopeless so Carmen ended up having to do the standing pose  DOGS!
