I heard about this a few months back, then not again and thought I might have dreamt it. In their latest newsletter though is their new Hypo Allergenic mixer. My question is has anyone tried it and what they thought of it? It is recommended to be fed with a raw food or home cooked diet

Why not give Burns a ring the have a freephone number on their website.
You can speak to a nutrionist they should be able to help.

I tried it and it gave mine serious dire rear, all three of them! They used to be fed on Burns and one was brought up on it but this stuff definitely didn't agree with them. I only gave them half a handful to start with and it went straight through  :-( I checked the ingredients list before I bought it and never thought it would be a problem, ended up giving it to a friend and it had the same affect on her dogs. :-(

That will probably have been the linseed (flaxseed) - a lot of dogs (mine included) have problems with it. My dog's bum was like a hosepipe after trying linseed

Oh dear, and I've just ordered a 7.5k bag:eek:

Well, I'll give it a try and see what happens

Thanks
