My Husband and I have just come back from an Exemption Show in which our 18 month old bitch was placed 2nd in one class and Vhc in another, this is the first time in months that we have done any Showing as we had over heard a horrible comment about us at a Show, basically saying 'they didn't know why we bothered', we were quite upset and I know we probably should have taken it with a pinch of salt, but we have stayed away from Showing and even Ringcraft Classes. But now it changes - we had a lovely time at the Exemption Show and we will continue on Showing, thicker skin applied!!! ;)

Many years ago when I showed Goldens a few exhibitors displayed the same attitude as you met but it was usually through ignorance/jealousy.
Get those show schedules filled in :D :D

How lovely to hear about your success, well done! I have been a little unsure about the whole show thing due to the sort of behaviour shown by thoose most rude people so it was nice to read about your victory. Thanks for sharing it :)
