Anyone know how to get bubble gum out of a dogs coat?!

Hold ice-cubes against the gum to make it brittle. Then it'll break off. :)

I've just tried the ice cubes, but it's not a big blob of bubble gum, it's like a thinner string of it, or several strings of it!  Is there anything that dissolves bubble gum?

The net has another hint that rubbing peanut butter into it helps shift it. Other places suggest WD40 or cooking oil.

With clothes you can put them in the freezer and the gum becomes brittle and is easily removed but wouldn't recommend using the same method with your dog

Use a pair of scissors and cut?????????

Thanks everyone.  The peanut butter actually worked quite well, even though OH had no faith, he said someone will suggest rubbing in syrup next .  Suki's Mum also helped by licking off any leftover peanut butter.
