Can someone please tell me if Synulox can be bought online? 

Only with a prescription as it's a POM (Prescription Only Medication) in the UK.

Of course he won't! How on earth could anyone ethically authorise the dispensing of drugs to an unknown 'patient' when it might be wholly inappropriate?

I meant even as a continuation of treatment, which is a bit sneaky as they then charge you for the AB's and another consultation at our vets.

I wouldn't dream of asking for them without the dog being seen first.

I have been told that in Spain you can buy Synolux over the counter, so if you know anyone going to spain!!!

Yep that's where I got it from recently when my friends went over to Spain.   Unfortuantely my friend got her dogs their usual medication etc. and somehow one of them managed to get into her suitcase and eat the whole lot, costing my friend a lot of money with two dogs in the vets on drips for nearly a week as they weren't sure whether the other dog had ate some too.  Luckily it seems as though they are fine, but it ended up being an expensive price!

With overuse of antibiotics being a real problem with resistant bugs developing, I am shocked that you can just by AB's anywhere in the EU without prescription.
