I know alot of you on here have a wealth of knowledge so here goes. A friend of mine has been registered disabled for the last 3 years and is really struggling to go to work. She is single with small children,but obviously still needs income. Does anybody know what she could claim,or would be entitled to? I know she gets middle rate DLA but thats it,apart from child allowance.Any replies gratefully received, but I do know she has an appointment with Citizens Advice next week.Many thanks in advance.

Hi if she is unable to work due to her disability she should be able to claim Incapcity benefit on a long term basis.
Also she would also be able to make a claim on Tax credit,
