Can anyone tell me any reason not to treat my bitch with the above?
She has pups due in a week (or less) but is driving herself & me, mad, scratching non stop. I have a feeling it's mites. (Cheyletiella)
TIA

There's no mention here that it should not be used on pregnant animals, but it would be sensible to confirm that with your vet, and ideally get a diagnosis that parasites are indeed the cause.

Edit: The information from NOAH states only that Frontline may aid in the control of Cheyletiella spp.

I have always found Frontline has no effect on Cheyletiella at all, only Ivermectin does and of course not all breeds can take that. (I frequently get Cheyletiella on my cats, it seems to be passed on at shows etc despite the strict vetting in and disinfecting.)

I live in an area, heavily populated with rabbits & hares - so I guess that is where I'm getting it from - although I have to admit that I am self diagnosing!
On the Frontline Spray bottle that I picked up from the vet, last week, it clearly states Cheyletiella!
I have used it before on a youngster, with good results.

I too have used it before on a 8 week old puppy and it did the job, however I would check with your vet. Firstly that she does infact have Cheyletiella and that it would be safe to use on an in whelp bitch.
