Has anyone done any of Sheila Baileys weekend course ?

I am thinking if I can get a place of doing the Working Trials for beginners/Tracking and nosework ?

Would be great to know what they are like etc thanks

Yes I have done the UD working trial weekend as a first timer.
It was brilliant fun and cannot recommend them enough. Met loads of like minded people and the best bit was the fact my young and 'full on' large guarding breed was utterly and totally shattered having had to use her brain more than her brawn.
The highlight was when I lost my only key for my car at the end of day one and 'we' sent the dogs on a search for it and they found it (big search area, long grass) it was amazing.
p.s. I don't get commision by the way!!!

I did a couple including her 3-weekends instructors course about 8 years back, it was really good but the middle w/end -July- it was FREEZING everyone ended up wearing most of the clothes we had taken -all at once- just think michelin men, so take an extra layer with you. There are (or were) some great b+bs in the area where you can have dogs in your room and reasonable cost. one thing I liked was she had the knack of quietly 'putting down' a couple of know-it-alls who were being a pain in the posterior!.
Have fun, Chris
