Can anyone tell me if it's common that a bitch could have cystitis after finishing her season?

My bitch has just finished her first season (well nearly a week ago) and today she seems to have cystitis.  Could it be related to her season?

She has had cystitis before and the vet did tell us some bitches are prone to it than others.
