So very proud of my girl, she has just passed (with flying colours) her PAT DOG assessment, now its the wait for her Pat coat, t-shirt etc then we can begin. She is only 12 months old so well chuffed::cool:, we now just have to master the show ring:rolleyes:., have just phoned her breeder who i think is as proud as me.

Well done that is great news, never mind the show ring...
My girl gets really bored in the ring so watch this space..
She will shine as a pat dog that is great.

Congratulations and well done to your girl. I keep thinking of having Milo assessed because he adores old people and usually gets a lot of fuss made of him by pensioners.

Well done, I am really happy for you both and she is a great age to do it too. I took my assessment this afternoon , I was sooo nervous but like you mine passed - he never even flinched or looked when the tin with money/keys was dropped  Just looking forward to getting started now  where do you hope to take her ?

i am hoping to be able to take her to our local hospice, as know that if i am ever in one the one thing that would brighten my day woul be a visist from a big soppy dog, would love to do our hospital but mine does not agree with dogs or cats visiting, me thinks this is something i will have to try and change. Also i work in my local college with challenging teenagers and think that maybe when shes a little bit and wiser they might learn alot from her carmness. just so excited and can not wait to start.
