how do you register a pure breed golden retriever that didn't come with papers? i have a blonde golden female from canada. i know people register dogs all the time especially from puppy mills. i don't know how they do it, with less than perfect dogs. i have a golden from champian lines. help, peggy

Where do you live Peggy? I suspect it might be the US with your mention of puppy mills (here in the UK we talk about puppy farms). In the UK only the breeder can register puppies. You might be better finding out about registering in the US from a US board than a UK one.
