Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me any internet sites where I can order engraved dog ID tags as I just can't find anything.
I am getting Toby microchipped when he is old enough but also want to have a dog ID tag.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Nicky xx
PS - Also looking for a really nice food mat.

Hi Nicky,
I get mine done at: http://www.dogaccessories.co.uk/
Very quick service, very good tags and relatively cheap.
Helen
I hope it's ok to give you the link.

you can get them from www.pettags.co.uk. They are the same ones that I ordered through my vets and they are really nice, they arrived within a couple of days as well which was great.

I want a nice mat to put his food and water bowl on but all the ones I have seen in my local pet shop aren't very nice and so I was hoping to find a really nice one on the internet.

They have nice ones in Marks and Spencer. I think they're £2.50. Expensive, but they're good quality.

(Don't buy the paw shaped bowl, if you put it in the dishwasher it fills up with water and soaks your feet when you take it out  )

What with that and Carrie flinging her water bowl at anyone passing, sometimes our kitchen resembles a swamp :p

Hi Nicky
They do plain round dog tags at our local locksmiths. If you want a couple let me know and I can get them and send them in the post..I think they are under £1.00

Kleeneze do some nice ones - I've got one for Holly and it's got a bit marked out for the food bowl and for the water bowl. Holly eats in her crate so the food bit has her bowl of tea on it in the morning!!
It's a fabric one and washes fine in the machine.

Most places that cut keys can do dog tags too. My local shoe repairer/locksmith can do them for £1.20.

I have found the extra expense of the dogtags onews well worth it, as they stay looking nice an really readable for years, whereas the simply engraved ones deteriorate.

I've just been looking at that Fiona:) I might have to invest now if you recommend them:D
Regarding dog tags- I got one from our local shoe repairer's- it's shaped like a bone and cost £4.99 it looks lovely- very posh;) but it seems rather expensive now compared to what some of you have got yours for:)

Most folks laugh when I say that Stan loves a cup of tea! I'm glad Holly likes her tea, too.
And after all, tea has anti-cancer-oxidants in , too!

I agree with the food mat thing. It's very difficult not to get anything with paw marks on (can't be doing with kitsch) so I ended up going to Heals!

Natasha,
Does this include the engraving, if so I wouldn't mind some, my local key cutting man engraves your disk at a cost of £7.95 to set up the machine and 25p a letter thereafter. Oh and you have to pay £4.99 fot the disc to start off with.
Could this be the most expensive dog tag ever???????????????/

"Could this be the most expensive dog tag ever???????????????"
LOL :D Perhaps for the average dog owner. But I've heard of 10 k Gold tags or ones with diamonds for the trendy jet setting owner

Probably!
I like pettag.co.uk.
We had 2 from there engraved front and back. One brass bone-shape and one silver steel tag. Both at £4.99 each (that includes engraving and the ring).
Dead quick and easy!
