hi there

We have to young dalmatians and as well as going to the toliet whilst out on walks they also in an area of concreted yard that we have.  I disinfect this area with jeyes fluid every other day and always rinse with a watering can after every wee.  I have noticed that since the dry weather has started tho an unbearable smell of urine in this are.

Is ther anything else that i can use to break down the urine, as i feel that the disinfectant is just making it for a while.

Many thanks

I find making a solution of biological washing powder up in a watering can and sloshing over the patio works well. I also use a hard bristled broom to scrub it in slightly.
Doing this every other day keeps the smell at bay I find.

I think the biological washing powder actually breaks down something in the urine (not quite sure what) and so isn't actually masking anything.

Hope this helps

Its cheap too :D

I swill my dog area down with parvocide leave it to soak into the concrete for a while then rinse off but dont let the dogs back until it has near enough dried.... it kill all germs doesnt smell to bad either.
