I collect a bag of bones from my local butcher every week and bung them in the freezer for Earl (he has one every other day as a bit of a treat).
Normally I get a bone out of the freezer and defrost it before giving it to Earl but I wondered if it was OK to give them to him still frozen? I thought this might be a nice way of cooling him a bit when (if) the summer gets here, and would save me time (and remembering) about defrosting.
Thanks in advance,
Helen

Although I've never done it myself, I have heard a few say that they give them frozen :)

I only feed them defrosted but know other people feed them frozen :)

I ALWAYS give them frozen :)

I always give bones frozen - I can't stand the smell while they defrost! Occasionally I have to run them under a hot tpa for a few mins if a couple have stuck together but thats it :)

I regularly feed them frozen as I'm rarely organised enough to have left them out in advance to defrost  Dogs don't seem to mind at all :)

Yes, frozen!
We often give them frozen to our dogs, especially in summer when its hot.
Happy munching :)
Oh superb - thanks everyone.
I'm suffering from pregnancy brain so have trouble remembering my name let alone to get a bone out of the freezer to defrost overnight :)
