Hello

It was mentioned on the dog health board that Iams/Eukanuba is not a good food for dogs any more. I'd heard this already and mentioned it to my local petshop, who reassured me it didn't affect any of the food except UK Iams/Eukanuba (I'm an expat liviing in the Netherlands).

My cats have been brought up on Iams dry food with occasional wet, but is there another brand you would recommend? I have tried Science Plan but there isn't quite the same enthusiasm from the cats as there is for Iams.

Thank you,
Ali

The internet is full of spooky stories about what is or isn't good to feed, I would just give what suits your dog/cat as long as it is thriving.

I feed my cat Iams senior - he loves it and he's doing just fine :)

I used to feed him Nutro cat food which he also did well on - but since my Nutro eating dog passed away recently :( I don't buy it anymore which is why I switched to Iams. My elderly GSD eats Iams Senior dog food. I also feed Purina and raw :)
So I can recommend Nutro as an alternative.
