Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / Wondered if this was normal behaviour???

2 dogs, 2 issues?

I am having to drive to the park in the mornings as Sam will only go to the little park and that is to the left. If I want to come out the house and turn right, he won't budge and puts all his staffie wiehgt doen, gets out of his collar and runs to the left. So now I put both dogs in the car and drive 300 yards to the big park. He is more than happy to walk through the woods and enjoys it. this I am learning to live with as he is an old man, but do fine it strange behaviour.

With Breeze, after our 30 min walk and going back to the car, as we come out the woods we have to cross the playing fields to get to the car park, she sits down and won't walk without being put back on the lead. While I am getting Sam back in the car, she plonks herself down a few metres away and I have to go back and get her.

Any ideas how to combat this behaviour in both dogs?
