Hi Everyone, been clearing out my attic and came across some old pots I was given on my 21st birthday by an old lady I used to shop for. They are Thomas Till and Son circa 1890 a gravy boat and plate and sauce tureen, lid and plate, blue and white, design is 'poppy' Do you think they have any value?
Have alook at Ebay as that may give you a broad idea. Failing that take it to a reputable dealer and see what they say :)

A quick google tells me that your items are pre 1861 as the mark changed to Thomas Till & Sons after that. Thats all the help I can be...so none at all really :) Stick them on ebay and see what happens?

Try looking on Ebay - there is a 'Poppy' pattern tureen with dish for sale at £34.95 :)
Can't find the name in any of my books on ceramics nor Millers antiques guide. I agree with everyone else - e-bay is the best bet - a dealer probabally won't give you much for them.
Thanks everyone.........read you replies with interest. I go on e-bay quite a bit but if they worth anything I didn't want to put them on without a reserve. Looks like a trip into Nottingham, think they do a free valuation service at Neales. Thanks again.
What an excellent site Stanlib - thanks - I have collected and trained to be a ceramic restorer (don't have much time for it these days) and that is good information - thanks. I keep off E-bay these days because I have collected too much and have had to put so much away in the attic to help with dusting. The art deco plate and the geranium plate look really nice - hope your pieces are good too carol99.
