small brag :p Opi just went over the dog walk with no hesitation!!

Not a big thing for a lot of dogs, but she's had a long running issue with the seesaw after hairing up it (thought it was a dog walk ), that made her frightened of the dog walk, got her confident on that so she did it again... so on and so forth... lately she's been so bad she refused to do either obstacle, instead 'walking' up the dog walk with her front feet, back feet on the ground.

Well, today I had her and Soli at a group session for some people from college, I was only working Soli but thought I'd run Opi round the course at the end - and she just went straight up!  Woohoo!  I was so happy I was running alongside her wooping :D

Well done! I had the exact same thing with my Yankee, he shot on the seesaw so quick the first time (thinking it was the dogwalk!) the trainers couldn't catch it and it banged down and scared him. Didn't put him off the dogwalk but he was scared of the seesaw for a long time!

So glad to hear Soli is having fun on the dog walk, I had a very similar problem with Banya when we did agility, ended up buying my own dog walk so I could train her to enjoy it in between the classes

I remember having to go through a tunnel on hands and knees leaving a trail of food behind me for a little mongrel I had:rolleyes:
The things we have to do Bonnie turned out the fastest and most accurate dog in our agility class though even if I had a job getting out of the tunnel so it was worth it in the end.
Well done hopefully thats the problem solved.
