You will be pleased to know that the last pup I was telling you about last night has survived and is doing well this morning! But I was so tired last night that I fell asleep by the whelping box, when I woke up this morning I felt so guilty, I looked to check all the pups were ok and to my absolute astonishment I counted 7! My angel had had another pup in the night, had looked after the pup at birth, got him breathing and the pup is fine!, just goes to show that sometimes we may interfear too much. its my birthday today and I wanted a surprise but this surpasses all my expectations. I will let you know later how they got on at the vets!

big congrats! my springer delivered her 8th pup 12hrs after what we thought was the last one - she survived and is well. few years ago now.
