Hi i was wondering if there is such a breed of dogs as a Kent terrier.
If there is where could i find a picture of one, i have tried to google it but find nothing.

It's not a KC recognised breed. It's possible that there is a line of crossbred terriers that are locally known as 'Kent terriers', but nothing official.

No official recognised breed as a Kent Terrier. Have a look on CD dog search and that will give you all the KC recognised breeds of terriers.

Our local shoot have what is known as a Stratford terrier, they are a mismatch of all types of terriers bred by the terrier man of the local hunt. Very strange things but brilliant ratters I am told. As JG suggests this may be a type of cross bred in the area for a specific purpose.

I have always heard of such terriers being simply called hunt terriers.

I agree but  I think our guy wanted to differentiate his dogs from others. Very odd things, crossed along the line with JRT, Borders, Fell and lakeland and whatever else came along :cool:
