Just reading something and it says you can add seaweed powder to your pups food, has anyone tried this and does it have any benefits

I feed raw and I add Kelp to his food, it helps with the thyroid function.

If you feed a complete food, I'm not sure it should be added, so you'll need to check this out.  It is a source of iodine and you can overdo it which can be toxic!

Also dogs under a certains weight shouldn't be fed kelp as it can cause over-heating.  Dorwest Herbs website has some good info about it.
