In the last 2 weeks my friend's 15 year old toy poodle was attacked by 4 boxers and whilst she was trying to protect her dog they then turned on her.

Then.. another friend was walking along the shore line and her dog swallowed 3 discarded fishing hooks, and had to be pts due to internal damage and haemorraging (sp)

Owning dogs can bring so much pleasure but so much heartache. 

Hope everyone one else is having a better time with their doggy chums.
