Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / software for breeding pedigree dogs
- By brendz10 [ie] Date 26.03.07 16:53 UTC
Hi,

I over heard a conversation the other day regarding breeding dogs and the two breeders were discussing inputting the dogs pedigrees into a software program to see if they were a good match.

Didn't like to ask them as it would have been obvious that I was listening but does anyone know what software they were refering to?
Would like to know as it might comein handy to have knowledge of such a thing if I ever decided to breed myself.....

Many thanks

I have a trial cd of the 'Breeders Assistant' that we got two years ago at Crufts, will have to wait tell OH gets home to let you know more as I cant find the disk!
It is a very good software, I think the whole software costs about 150 quid
You can keep records of the dogs you have bred or owned and you just input the dogs details, choose a pedigree form design and it sorts it all out for you!
