Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Clippers for a AC

I'm thinking about getting an American Cocker and know a few yankee owners on here. I won't be showing but I'm after a pair of clippers to do a pet coat trim not to short as I'll use Thinning scissors on the legs. Just a pair of clippers for the head & back. Can anyone recommend a good quality pair under £50 and what blade should I get? What blade Thinning scissors aswell please? :D
.
Thanks.

Hi Hazz,

I've got these..http://www.surreypetsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/9266828.html

they'd be perfect for your purpose. They're as cheap as chips (£20.00) and great for pet trims. I have some Oster Golden A5 clippers too (£110) and I hate them with a passion. I'd rather use these cheapies and just buy new ones when I need to. :)

Thanks Dawn :D What blade shall I get or do they come with a set one?

The blade is already attatched, and is adjustable. With the clipper combs that come with the set you can have even more choice of hair length.
