hi all
went to the eye hospital today and i have been given dog eye drops to put into my eye this is what it says
OPTIMMUNE EYE OINTMENT CYCLOSPORIN A 2mg

Hi Loraine,
Cyclosporin is used for dogs whose tear glands are no longer producing tears. They usually use it with together with other aids.

hi
well i am using that along with 3 others eye drops
i have a severe disease in my eye and so fair nothing has worked so i will give it a go

Hi all
well i tryed the new eye drops last night for the first time and it did not seem to do anything bad to me
but can i ask what the A means after the name cyclosporin A does anyone now

The other half and I are both ophthalmologists, and Ian did research on cyclosporin A some years ago, so if you want to write to me privately about your eye problem we might be able to give you some ideas about what is going on.
