Hooray, after sulking upstairs for 9months after Roscoe CKCS arrived, Boo came downstairs!!!

At first we didn't know how she got through the stair gate (have since watched her squeeze, and I mean really squeeze after several attempts through) and quietly tip toe in to the lounge and out in to the garden.  OH and I can't believe it.  Roscoe did not chase her or bark although he was so excited to see her as she has been teasing him on the stairs for months. Normally he barks like mad at her.

Several times he approached her today, she did the usual hissing growling etc and this was enough to put him off and move away.  We are so pleased.  Hopefully she will continue to come down, we will have to wait and see.

Sounds like the first step of many. A friendship mauybe in the offing. But at least it seems like toplerance. Congratulations.

thats great took my cat about that long to get used to my dog now although not best of friends they get on ok :)
