Does anyone by any chance have the start time?  Parents have mislaid the letters so we have no idea what time it starts.

Thanks

Well done you and well done Dad!
I thought I would be going but found out I qualified for NEXT year! That's ages away!! Who was judging?
I have really been enjoying doing a few AH classes (course it helps when you win!!) brings it all flooding back!

I haven't yet qualified for next year.  I have had all that luck at Coventry ladies on the 1st jan but I was on holiday this year.  I don't know where any other qualifiers are apart from the same society but thats the day after my frshers prom so won't be going!

Will hopefully see you there next year.  Dad has decided to retire for a couple of years I think because he hates going down and after yesterday the only way is down!

Nuneaton & District has a qualifier, but I think entries have closed?
- By ice_queen Date 19.03.07 19:21 UTC
Ooooh I think I've been enterd into nuneaton!  thats on the 9th isn't it?  Now just got to ask for that day off work....first I want a job over easter and then I want a bank holiday off.... woops! :D

Nevermind, I'll have a look for some more, I'm sure there's another one held at the connextion. However after watching you handle on sat', I thought you were robbed!! Perhaps you could handle for me!!!

Thanks for that!  Avril after said that my faults were I didn;t do a straight line on my first leg of the triangle and I was too far back presenting my dog after the movement, everything else she said was perfect so guess the others just did better.

I was pleased as I haven't handled the aussie since last year, before I moved to uni, so I wasn't sure how he would go for me.  Gave Dad my own handling dog because his bitch came into season on the thursday/friday and our other bitch was in season.  I learn't my leson though....Never be nice to your dad when it comes to handling! :D

My Parents are going to be e-mailed a list of qualifying shows in our area so once they have that e-mail I can find a place to qualify...biggest problem though I will be up against my brother (who won his class at Crufts) so I don't stand a chance really!  Ohwell I shall keep trying

P.S if you ever find yourself needing a handler at a show then I'm always stupid enough to be up for a challenge!  WHy oh Why did I take one of the maddest known red and whites in the ring at crufts I don't know....everyone told me I was mad!
- By KateM Date 20.03.07 20:05 UTC
Tis true - she's nuts - she's even taken in one of the bouncing mad valls for me!
- By ice_queen Date 20.03.07 22:56 UTC
He wasn't that bad (as far as I can recall!!!) :D
- By KateM Date 19.03.07 19:43 UTC

Was the final held on a match system or were there actual classes? There is not much room to manouvre at Bagington either so you must be limited to what patterns you can do?
- By ice_queen Date 19.03.07 20:50 UTC
It was into 4 age classes (17-30, 31-45, 46-60 and 60+) done as classes, last year it was crowded but this year, with nice weather forcarsed it was held outside :)  which ment a nice big ring :D

Was told last years judge didn't want to go outside so had to have it indoors! :)

Do they have JH judges for the final? I will have to look out for you although I am sure we will bump into each other before!
- By ice_queen Date 19.03.07 22:20 UTC
Yes normally :)  so far the four judges (two each time) have been judging handling and involved with juniors for along time :)  They know what they like and don't like.  Lastt year as soon as I foudn out who my judge was I knew I wasn't going to get a place.  I don't like her style of handling and she doesn't like mine.  Unfortnaly the other judge my dad got was alot more of my style of handling!

I'm sure we shall meet at some point!  Otherwise I'll be the one with the red and white next year...I'm not giving up my girl for anyone next year.  I've now retired her from Crufts handling so she can just go in the breed as she is nearly 8 but hopefully we will have another adult handling final together before she's retired from handling compleatly :)
