Sorry guys I know this has probably been a topic before but I just need to re-assure myself!!
My girl is 58 days pregnant, I took her temperature yesterday Am was 101.2 Pm was 100.2 hut this morning she is getting growly with me when I try and take her temp, so I just have her a cuddle and noticed that she had a whiteish mucus on her vulva?
I have read so many books and know this is probably a good sign but please would you re-assure me!!!!!!!!!
And how soon does this mucus start before labour???

Don't panic! Yes, it's perfectly normal. One of my bitches started over a week before actually giving birth. And yes, I panicked! :D So long as it doesn't change colour you should be fine. Clear, whitish mucus is good. Green, smelly isn't. Is she having a big litter, or don't you know?

I can breath again!!  Not sure how many she may be caring as have not had her scanned, just wanted to leave it after what we went through with my other girl (False pregnancy but very convincing one! falled a top breeder!!!)
Anyway her progress has gone better then my last girls false pregnancy so we are excited!!
She was a slim build to begin with but now looks like a barrel, and her teats are very much enlarged and have sagged.
She is drinking more then usual and still eating loads, I took her for a walk and she got tired quickly and had loads of wees!!
They should be due on Sunday date taken from first mating, she had four days of mating so we are keeping calm!
But her teats have developed more then what my other girls that had the false pregnancy did, and I have never seen this kind of cloudy mucus before!!!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. It sounds like she might have one or two (or an awful lot more ;) ) I've got 7 weeks to wait :rolleyes: Mine isn't showing any signs yet, but that's to be expected. At least I've got my spare bedroom back. My oldest daughter was storing things in it, but she moved into her new house last week :)

Good luck with the impending litter. The mucous is a good sign, it's a plug that comes away before labour. Hope everything goes smoothly for you

                 im in the same boat as you my girl is day 58 had a bit of discharge last couple of days ,we had a restless night last night but she's fine this morning happy to eat her breakfast ,im like a walking zombie lol
