Does anyone know how much it is to join these days? I hate slimming groups, but like the diet ;). Was going to buy the books on ebay....but to my horror the one i was watching sold for £22 plus £5 postage Thats the 07 edition.  The others seem the same.......but if thats how much it is to join, I think I'll pass...maybe...:rolleyes:

it is half price at the moment to join I think it is about £5. I go every week and it costs 4.50 a session. They have a good website that will tell you all  you need to know       http://www.slimming-world.co.uk/

Alternatively you could eat a little bit less, exercise a little bit more - all for FREE!  Save the £4.50 a week for new clothes!

And you could end up looking like the woman on you are what you eat!!!!!

Not seen that........spiritulist, was that a 'for' or 'against'  slimming world or eating a bit less, exercising a bit more?

I have been attending Slimming World since Aug 31st last year and to date have lost 3 1/2 stone.  I think one needs willpower and determination to achieve one's goal.  My insentive is on June 30th am going on a 2 week cruise and I want to look good by then to wear clothes without feeling fat !!
On 31st Aug 2006 I weighed my heaviest ever 15 stone 1 lb   - I now weigh
11 stone 8 lbs.

i'm with slimming world too!....lost 21/2 stone since oct last year,tried everything else!with them i never feel like i'm on a diet and never hungry, infact my biggest problem is fitting all the food in i should have!.....lol
