does anyone know if i can send foodstuffs to america for a friend?? its just things she cant get over here (like monster munch :D and chocs really) thanks :)

I'm pretty sure the US has strict controls on the importation of foodstuffs, and if not done with a government licence then it'll be confiscated and destroyed. Google turns up many US outlets like this for British foods - perhaps one of them will be able to help. :)

As someone who used to bring food from the US here or have other ship the best method O have found is online shopping. You will spend a fortune sending food over. A small box sent courier can cost you £100. There's a list here. I don't know where she lives but there are a few stores on the west coast the import British food. Cost Plus Imports is one. There are thousands of Brits in California so a pretty good market over there.
