Hiya.......i know there wereTHOUSANDS of people there but i didnt see another one [ but me] weaing ribbons and rosemary!, i was asked loads of times why i was wearing them but didnt see anyone else doing so............it was a waste of time and effort, i think next year if we want to meet up we shoud try to organise say 3 meeting times so if you cant make one you might possibly make another,it would be nice [ well i think so anyway] to meet the"real" people behind the names......what do you think?

Yes, let's have a proper meeting time and place, like you say having 2 or 3 during each day would be fun so we can meet up. :-)

I never saw the rosemary and ribbons but then I didn't wear it either. when I'm wearing two outfits it's abit hard to be changing things over :)

I must admit Pauline, I was wearing mine but didn't see you :) or anyone else that I didn't already know from CD either?
I went to the Golden stall in discover dogs, but i didn't get to meet alisongold as I'd hoped, which was a shame.
I met Goldmali and her partner at the end of the day too - I recognised her from her website as I walked past her. I sort of did a stalking wierd thing where I needed to be sure and then went back to her. I probably looked a bit odd!

:D :D
I've actually gone up to people thinking they were some one else. I saw a woman I thought was borderpride and went up and said 'hello' felt really stupid LOL well I'd only seen BP on her website and she did have blonde hair and a border collie and I wasn't wearing my glasses :P :P Then I was pointed in the right direction :D
Might try the 'stalking' bit in future ;) :)

Oi Mrs Missie LOL!! You never said you came by the rings
and you've met me personally a few times now ROFLOL!!! Anyway, I was in my scooter so not quite at eye level & easy to miss LOL!! :p As it is, I hardly saw anyone in my own breed let alone any of the others

YO ! Lyndsay!
:D It was last year at the NAC when I met you for the first time AFTER I had mistakenly thought someone else was you :D :D it was Karen that pointed me in the right direction that day :P :P
By the way, are you doing Stratford or Nun & District in April here??

Ahh now I understand LOL!! Thought you was on about this Crufts just gone  Not seen any schedules for Ryton (basically because I've not really been anywhere!) but if the entries are still open & you have any spare schedules I may consider it ;) I keep being told to stop overdoing it, to rest up & behave :p LOL!! Catch ya later :D

borderpride, is that your affix ? I think we have a dog you have bred at our agility class :)

Hi Claire, yep it's my affix

Which agility club? Is the dog Tagg by any chance?

its mad agility, and yes it is Tagg. I think he is in the new class as I dont know him, just spotted the name on the club website I remembered there was someone here of that name ;)
http://www.madagility.plus.com/gallery.html

That's my boy :D Tagg is a lovely, gorgeous boy, growing nicely, a wonderful, dedicated owner, is now also competing in Canni-Cross & winning!!

I think Tagg & Gavin (his owner) share a wonderful bond, Tagg has a great life & will have a wonderful future

Oh cani cross !! I really wanted to do that, im just sooo not fit enough
They are on a different night to me so I dont see how they are getting on.

LOL I wondered how you knew who I was! Sorry if we were a bit confused, it was at the end of a day we'd spent doing DD. Ripley certainly liked you! :D
LOL - I did sort of pounce on you from the side I'm afraid....
:D And I liked Ripley very much too! They were both gorgeous!

I was really disappointed - the chest infection I had a couple of weeks earlier came and knocked me for six again last Thursday - and despite having coughed up £85 for a train ticket, I just couldn't go :(
I was looking forward to Friday so much, as well :(
Hope you all had a great time and met up with each other.

I was even sicker not being able to recover my dosh!!! So much for going green - if I'd decided to go by car, I wouldn't have actually lost ANYTHING :(

OOoooh No I wasn't laughing at the train tickets, it was the idea of coughing up money instead of the usual phlegm!
Really bad joke,
sorry :)

Margot have you got current travel insurance out as you maybe able to claim the moeny back ?
Lucy
xx
Normally you can get your money back with a £10 admin fee so long as you still have the tickets. Well I get mine back if I don't travel. If you bought online, book into your account, then refunds and choose the reason for not travelling, print off the slip and post off.
Hope it helps.

Lynn

What about me Lynn??!!!!

:-D
Hope Struan is feeling better and his back has recovered from the day and the journeys. Thought he looked like he was struggling when I saw you outside.

Thanks Paula, it takes him about a week to recover after a trip down south :( What happened to you??
When you saw us outside we were just trying to sort out who to talk to about leaving early. The KC and the NEC were excellent we got help to the car and everything but by then he struggled even walking from the bus to the car but the rest in the hotel helped before coming home :)
I only saw one other champdogs member (Surannon / Debs) who is in the same breed as me (Pharaoh Hounds) - her bench was back to back with one of mine.
Also when I did discover dogs on thursday I saw no one.
I just guess/assume everyone was busy with showing & shopping !
Pam

Sounds good to me :D Didn't go this year - but from last year it was SOOOO busy I'd be surprised you'd ever meet anyone without a place and time :)

Met Starryeyes, it's an annual pilgrimage now isn't it Roni having met last year. It was all a bit of a blur after that and I didn't get chance to shop much as OH is allergic to shopping and our classes didn't fully finish 'till around 3.30pm. Still had a great day and came home clutching some rosettes. Still on cloud nine.
