Whoooo Hooooo, well done :) :) :) (what does OB ticket mean?)

>(what does OB ticket mean?)

LOLOL it is the same as a breed Challenge certificate except the the class at Crufts is actually the Crufts Obedience Championships & the winner leaves Crufts as an Obedience Champion even if they have only won one Ob CC before Crufts It is worth two Obedience Challenge certificates
- By ceejay Date 09.03.07 20:02 UTC
Brilliant well done Michelle _ I do wish they would show more on TV - last night was so rushed and hardly any action.  Whoops it's on now.
- By zarah Date 09.03.07 20:28 UTC
pssst you lot - don't think it's actually Michelle that won :D

The clue is in the subject line :P
- By michelled [gb] Date 09.03.07 21:12 UTC

- By ceejay Date 09.03.07 21:37 UTC
Having marked all my posts as old everytime  - I thought that there must have been more that had gone before!  Thought that it was an odd heading :-(    Saw the winner earlier - do wish they had actually SHOWN some of the competition.  There is nothing on - no obedience, no agility, no flyball - are they showing any of it at all?   I turned to the special pages on Sky after the programme and that seemed to be all breed competition - no fun when you already know the winners.  How are you getting on Michelle?  How is the team?  The Crufts site only seems to have a space for breed winners.
- By LindyLou [gb] Date 09.03.07 22:36 UTC
They usually show this at the weekend. The dogs one day, then the bitches the next. I haven't been too impressed this year so far. Why can't we see more of the dogs in action?
- By Nikita [gb] Date 10.03.07 09:06 UTC
I thought that, last year as well.  The judging coverage has been rubbish - I taped it again last night hoping to see some dobes being judged, but just like last time it was half a second of a slow-mo shot.  And the half a minute of dogs doing a couple obstacles in the mini agility.  Very frustrating!

You'd think, given how huge the show is now, they'd give it longer coverage each night, or cut out the silly things - like the mini agility in the presenter's box.
- By Brainless [gb] Date 10.03.07 00:06 UTC
And her sisters son was BOB in the breed.

Go Belgians go !!!! :D :D :D
- By Trevor [gb] Date 10.03.07 06:18 UTC
FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!- what a result for the Hawksflight Tervs -  H Specialist won BOB and shortlisted for the group as well - what a wonderful breed we have - true 'all rounders' with beauty AND brains :D :D :D

hope Sarah and Norti ( Groen )  do well also !

re mei was on on thurs, he was fab. i gave him the wrong command on one of the ASSD pos (he did what i said, i said w....w...wa...sit & he w.....w...waited!!! bless!!!) then he missed a pos on DC , but was still on a fair mark despite that!!! but then failed scent!!! doh! but his actuall scent was very very nice, just couldnt find the judges, but actually DID match a scent as the decoy (mavis) had decoyed two cloths & the judges cloth was off of the pattern, so i was pleased!!!!! (sort of) anyway he had a fab time!!! i MIGHT be in again on sunday (world cup) as  one of the welsh dogs is slightly dodgy with its leg, we are waiting to see how he gets on today with it. But we have to retreieve over a jump tomorrow so we dont want to risk the dog....& i REALLY want to do it!!!!

re lyn & freya ohhhh so very very pleased for lynn, freya is lovely (& i know her son will!!)Lyn is such a lovely person! i was gutted though cos Mavericks granny Holly was leading before scent

sarah & nortiso good luck today for them the judge does like BSDs  & Norti is on form

though i also LOVE Barbara & llwyd, herbie & jazzy, jenny & millie(millie is a boy!) jackie & ethan, & linda with flynn

Wow!!!!! I have just watched the obedience link.  I know absolutely nothing about obedience at competition level but I actually felt quite emotional watching it. It was an absolute joy to watch. Freya is absolutely gorgeous. Many many congrats. Am off to crufts tomorrow and this has fuelled my excitement.

Oh me too. Just watched the clip three times and can't take my eyes off the footwork LOL. Managed to save it as well so I can watch it anytime. :D
- By Moonmaiden Date 10.03.07 22:38 UTC
How did you manage to save it ?
- By Goldmali Date 10.03.07 22:48 UTC
Little trick I found a while ago. I don't normally use Internet Explorer but if I want to save a video clip that doesn't appear to be possible to save, I make sure to view it in IE. It is then automatically saved to the Temp folder. In this case the clip is called ram2D4.ram and I found it in:
C/Documents and settings/my user name/local settings/Temp
I just copied the file to where I wanted to save it, renamed it to what I wanted to call it making sure it still ended with .ram, and when I double clicked on it, it plays in Real Player. :)
- By Moonmaiden Date 11.03.07 08:10 UTC
Thanx I will give that a try as I don't use IE either

Thanks Michelle I wouldn't have found that link either - hope they show it on the box tomorrow.  I could never walk with my dog that close - I would stand on her toes.  It was a real inspiration.
