I've had a Shuffle for a couple of years and my lovely husband has just surprised me with a Nano !. I've looked at the Apple website but can't find what I need to know and wondered if anybody here can help me.
Obviously I already have iTunes downloaded on the computer but I don't know if I can just plug the Nano in and use the iTunes I have or do I have to download it again and use two separate iTunes ?.

hopefully someone will come along and tell you before my daughter gets in from school, but she has a nano and is always adding/changing music on it so I will ask her when she's in if you haven't found the relevant info by then x

Just plug it in - Itunes will then say that this is differnt device to the last one and ask you what you want to do

No, you can use your existing iTunes.  It will recognise the new device is different.

Glad you got it sorted sorry I couldn't help earlier but I've never used one let alone put music on them lol
