It's been 8 weeks today since our girl had her litter of pups and this weekend will see most  of them going to their new vetted homes, and one more next weekend. We would like to say a great big thank you to the people who gave advice and support during the whelping, 8 weeks goes all too quickly, has anyone else found it really hard to let go if you know what we mean ???
It has been a truely amazing experience watching these tiny little helpless pups turning into absolutely gorgeous bundles of fun and mischief that will be missed so much by all of us.
Once again thank you all.

Yes, it's hard to let go, but it's also lovely to hear how your babies are getting on in their new homes.
Are you keeping a pup?  If so, it'll be great now, getting to know your pup properly, and having more time to devote to him/her away from the littermates.

Yes we are keeping one of them...I just couldn't not seeing as they were born on my 40th birthday, so Cara (shortend from Cariad- love in welsh) is my birthday pressie.

I too found that my own pup didn't feel like mien until all the others were gone and she was finally on her own with just her adult family.

Well my Myka is now 11 weeks and two days.
