Hi Adam,

I think your vet really has to be your best - no, make that *only* - bet here because repeated or chronic bouts of sickness can have so many possible reasons behind them :(

As for the chips - I think they could in some circumstances cause vomitting etc but IME they would not cause her to have a high temperature.  As your vet has said, that is more likely to be a reaction to infection etc.

Have you arranged to take her back in?

regards, Teri

Well it's a good sign that her demeanour is up beat but I'm glad she's having further tests - it will get her on the quickest road to recovery and hopefully give you some peace of mind too :)

Please update when you have some news.  Will keep all things crossable in the appropriate positions meantime!

regards, Teri :)

Hi,

Are you sure that she is being sick, and not regurgitating?  I only ask as you say it is immediately after eating which from what I know (which of course isn't everything :D) would usually suggest a problem with the esophagus rather than the stomach. There is a good website somewhere that explains the difference - I'll try to find the link!

Can't find the one I was looking for but found this.

you could be right as i posted earlier she ate some oven chips straight from the oven when red hot that had droped on the floor which could have burn her oesphagus.
