Hi, I have been trying to locate the best place to buy tripe for my dogs. I have tried the local butcher and abatoir but no luck, I know that a leading pet store chain sell frozen tripe but wondered if this has the same quality as fresh tripe. One of my older dogs, every now and then will go off her food and I am told that tripe will really help to build her up. She does like the frozen product but want to do my best for her. Any help greatly appreciated.

I feed minced tripe and chunks of tripe that are sold frozen - have you ever smelt fresh tripe

My dog loves it and does well on it as part of his normal diet :)
