Hi Donna
I do understand exactly what you are going through, it's almost a year since Spangler died, and there isn't a day that goes by without my shedding a tear for him.  Some days it is just a tear or I feel sad, but other days I can't stop sobbing :( :(

I'm sure most people on here will understand what you are going through!

Thing is, these beautiful dogs come into our lives and leave us wide open for a broken heart, they give so much love, pleasure, companionship and loyalty, and when they are no longer around there is a huge void in our lives :(

Thank goodness we were the lucky ones that had them because they were worth every single second of the heartache we were left with and I'm sure you are like me in that we would do it all again for them, and we do have some wonderful memories of them don't we :)

You say time heals slightly and it does, but we will never forget them because they were so special to us.

Cry as much as you need to - it does help, he is no longer in pain and will be running free at the bridge, probably met up with Spangler and having a wonderful time :)

Maria xx
