Does anyone have contact details for the following breeder (not sure if I am allowed to put the breed of dog in here) - a Mrs L E Doubleday?

If anyone knows a telephone number or address for the above named breeder I would be very grateful for contact details. Many thanks.

I'm sure you can put the breed :)  Have you tried the breed club?

A longshot, but if you know the affix have you tried a google search? Or one on the breed of dog? Or looking at ad sites, see if she has puppies for sale, or show results if she shows?

The breed is Golden Retriever and I have the affix. I have tried a google search but with no luck. I know the registered names of a litter that our rescue GR may belong to - born on same date - and am looking for contact details in order that I can check if our dog was from a litter of hers born in 2005. I have the names of the pups from that litter and details of the dam and sire.

Clutching at straws I know but nothing ventured nothing gained :)

What about the breed club?  They may not want to give out her details, some clubs publish member details, some don't, but they may be willing to pass on your enquiry to her and she may get in touch with you.

Try the Kc, see if they have a phone number for her. I know legally they shouldn't give out details, but I do know they have given out a phone number before, although it was a few years ago. Breed club is a good one, if she is a member, they may be more helpful in locating her for you and passing your number to her. If you know the stud dog, have you googled his affix? If you could get his owner details, they may be able to help. Another thought, have you checked the breeders and stud dogs on this site, and stud dogs on other sites. Any idea of the area she lives?  If so you've probably got a better chance with the breed clubs :)

I think the sire's owner may live in the North but am unsure of the area for the dam's owner.

LOL I have done so much trawling over the last year or so that I am feeling like a North Sea fisherman :D :D

Off to trawl the breed clubs now :)

She doesn't appear to be a member of The Golden Retriever Club, can you send me her affix?

Hi, you could always try the Northern Golden retriever Club on 01205 871712 or plug in the details on www.k9data.com  This site is used by breeders and if they have added the progeny or sire or dam onto it they will have had to put contact details also. If you wish to check parentage as general with hip scores, litters etc try www.standfastdata.co.uk.

Edited to say that neither breeders or affixes are listed in the current Golden Retriever Year book. If I have chance later I will go back in past books for you. What year was the dog born ?

Checked year book for 2004 and 2005 and sorry nothing in there. Will dig out 2003 and 2 later.
