Libetery's funeral is at 10.30 am today. I was intending to be there, as a representative of all CD-ers who wanted to be there, but I have woken up this morning with a chest infection, and I'm not going anywhere today :( - my son was even threatening to take my car keys to work with him if I was still talking about going.
My thoughts are with Alison's faimily - Ian and her mum and dad. I'll be there in spirit with them.
Rest in peace, Libs, and may you have been reunited with your beloved dogs.

Oh no. :( I'm so sorry you're ill, Margot too. As you know, the others of us who'd planned to be there are either unwell or have been unable to rearrange commitments.
Bless you, libs, my friend. I'll be there in spirit (Bombay Sapphire? ;) I know you'd chuckle!) to see you on your way. Bree'll be delighted to meet you again.

I got your message this morning and you sounded gutted you were unable to go :(
I was so annoyed I was unable to go as well as would have liked to have been there in person.

omg just caught this thread- what happened :(
Libs had been very ill for some time (typically of her, she played it down and didn't want people making a fuss) and tragically lost her fight a couple of weeks ago. :(
