My sister has just sent me an e-mail that has a list of girls names.  You put a star by yours and send it to 10 people and then back to the sender.  It says something about it being a childrens project and please don''t break the chain (although it doesn't actually use that word) This does not sound like a children's project - anyone else seen this?   My sister sent me one before that was supposed to be a Chinese proverb and plays a number of philosophical screens - one has to send it on so you receive good luck.  Someone else has sent it too me since - I refused to send it on - I don't like dumping things on other people. 

I received it a week or so ago - I'm afraid I dumped it. I don't do chain letters.

I would not sent it on.  Nobody likes receiving them and they are a form of virus designed by some weirdo who likes to clog up the WWW.

I've had this numerous times and have dumped it on each occasion.  I never forward chain e-mails.

I hate chain emails and delete them.  I refuse to perpetuate the fear and anxiety that many of these chains cause.

Good thanks - I didn't want to remonstrate with my sister until I had proof that it was a chain letter and not some really usefull project that one of her friend's children had asked her to take part in :rolleyes:

http://www.snopes.com you can check anything like that at Snopes, just type in a search, and it will tell you whether it is legitimate or not. :)
